Description Perfect place to pick some veggies and have a picnic.

Garden is a location found in Untitled Goose Game. The Garden area is the first location the Goose can enter. Upon entering the area, the first to-do list will become available. Access to the Garden itself is attained either by using the hidden passage, or by luring the Groundskeeper out of the garden. Upon completing five tasks on the to-do-list, the Groundskeeper will post a "No Goose" sign, hammering it into the ground near the back door of the garden. The next location (High Street) becomes unlocked after the Groundskeeper hammers his thumb (see the to-do list below).

After the miniature golden bell is stolen (see Model Village to-do list), the Groundskeeper will stand in front of the Garden gate, blocking the exit from the Garden (he will resume his normal activity once the golden bell has been taken back home). He will attempt to retrieve the golden bell from the Goose, and will hang it from his waist.

To-do list[ | ]

Initially, the to-do list will contain 6 tasks. Upon completing 5 of the tasks, the player will be notified of "a new to-do list item!!". This last task will be starred at the bottom of the list. 4 of the tasks were seen completed in the song, "Goose on Holiday".

Garden
(bring to the picnic blanket : sandwich, apple, pumpkin, carrot, jam, thermos, radio, basket)

* • make the groundskeeper hammer his thumb

The to-do lists "to do (as well)", "to do (quickly!!)", and "to do (finally)" become revealed after the miniature golden bell is returned home (see Model Village to-do list). The tasks on these lists can be completed before then, revealing that the list exists, however only the completed tasks will be viewable:

Beat the game first, then read the list below, because it contains spoilers about a kind of "new game +".

How to complete the Garden To-Do List[ | ]

Standard[ | ]

These tasks are available when entering the location.

  • Get into the garden: This task is relatively easy to complete. You can either:

a) turn on the hose to make the Groundkeeper to exit the Garden to turn it off,

b) steal his radio (due to the fact that it broadcasts very loudly, he eventually will exit the Garden and take it from you),

c) go through the secret hole in the green wall (hidden by the wooden crate).

You can also use the glitchy way d). So grab the Sandwich item, bend through the hole in the gate, turn right 90° and you will glitch through the gate

  • Get the groundskeeper wet: There are two ways you complete this task;

a) steal an item from him and lure him to the lake, or

b) turn on the hose when he is near the garden plot with the dirt mound and shovel (the plot to the very left of the carrots).

  • Steal the groundskeeper's keys: This one is another relatively easy one. Simply take his keys from him when he isn't looking, and the task will be completed.
  • Make the groundskeeper wear his sun hat: This one may be a bit difficult, but with enough practice you'll be able to do it easily. To do so,

a) steal his red tulip from him, which is located in one of the plots. Make sure he takes it from you to put it back. As he bends down to replant it, steal the brown flat hat from his head and quickly hide it away - make sure to dodge and weave to avoid him, as always

b) (the glitchy way) glitch on the chair near his table (recommended item: Crushed Drink Can) and take an item from the table, get his attention, when he is taking an item, steal it again, drop it and grab the Groundskeeper's Hat (hide it in the same spot as in the a) method)

  • Rake in the lake: Take the rake (located next to the Hut of the Garden) and drag it into the canal. This one could require multiple attempts to complete as since it can only be dragged, you are much slower than usual. However, retry it enough times and you should be able to complete it eventually.
  • Have a picnic: This task is probably the most tedious to complete compared to any other task on the Garden To-Do List, as you need to steal multiple items from the Garden. Make sure to drop all the items on the big red picnic blanket (to find the big blanket, exit the Garden through the main entrance, turn left, go forward till the big gate comes into view, then turn right, and go forward). The task itself is pretty self-explanatory, so there is not much need to explanation here. The only thing you should be careful of is the radio, because - as stated earlier - will broadcast loudly, very likely catching the groundskeeper's attention.
  • Make the groundskeeper hammer his thumb: This is the final main task on the Garden To-Do List and will only be shown (and become completable) once the player has completed at least 5 of the tasks in the area. This is also the task that will unlock you the next area. To complete it, you will need to wait for the groundskeeper to take his No-Geese sign and hammer it into the ground. He will swing his hammer 3 times before securing the sign in the ground. Just as he is lifting his hammer at its highest point in the air for the third time, honk. This will cause him to fall backwards and push the door open, granting you access to the next area, High Street.

Beat the game first, then read the list below, because it contains spoilers about a kind of "new game +".

Do as well[ | ]

These tasks are opened after taking the gold bell home.

  • Lock the Groundskeeper outside the Garden. First, take the keys from the gardener and don't let him take them. When you have the keys, hide them. Next, lure the gardener out of the garden and close the garden door.
  • Cabbage picnic. Find the cabbages next to the bush shortcut into the garden. Push one out the bush shortcut or out the front door towards the picnic blanket. When you get there, roll it onto the picnic blanket.

Partial[ | ]

The garden is related to these tasks, but they do not take place in the garden itself. As already said, deliver the bell, and then this list appears.

  • Make someone from outside the High Street buy back their own stuff. Pick up the Spade in the garden (on the stool near the main street entrance), bring it to the Shopkeeper and place it on the tool shelf. If you did everything right, she will put it on hold. Then take a small object from the garden, attract the attention of the gardener and lead him (the Groundskeeper, the object is only needed as a decoy) to the same shovel. After a short animation, you will receive your achievement and complete the task.
  • Collect five flowers. Take the Tulip and throw it in the basket (near the well, which can be found not far from the vegetable gardens). The other four flowers are in the other four locations (the main street, the gardens (it must be cut in the same task), the pub (you have to "dance" on the manhole and you will be thrown a flower) and the small village (in the mini garden)).
  • Dress up the bust with things from outside the Back Gardens Here you can find different clothes and then put them on the bust (just throw them on the small "plate" in front of the bust).
